Art Gallery
EALT developed a photo gallery with themed sub-galleries. These include ‘nature’s patterns’, which could be considered nature’s art! It was seeing the art works of a local conservationist, that the idea of our Virtual Art Gallery was conceived.
The idea is that all the subjects are regional: – Boreal or Parkland scenes or species, and all the contributors are regional artists. These works create emotions, feelings, or inspiration in the eyes of the beholder, and have a different impact than facts and figures.
We hope that culturally-interested viewers understand that if we don’t conserve the land, then the sources of inspiration for artists may very well disappear. And we want our conservation-minded viewers to see that art may create some of the same feelings that they do while out on their early-morning walk.
