We really love comics by Your Wild City and Bird and Moon - they perfectly capture some of the wildlife found around Edmonton and on our conservation lands.
Trying to learn bird calls? Memorizing what birds "say" is a great way to identify birds by sound. You'll find some (but not all) of the birds in these strips around Edmonton - we hear black-capped chickadees, yellow warblers and white-throated sparrows all the time!
You'll probably have a harder time spotting a lot of mammals on our conservation lands, but species like striped skunk and fisher are there too!
