EALT has just added an exciting new geocache at Boisvert's GreenWoods, in addition to the 3 already stashed there. We now have 13 geocaches in total, hidden across 6 of our natural areas.
This new addition is a Multi Cache, which has two steps: solving a puzzle to acquire the coordinates, and then deciphering the code to the lock on the geocache container. The mysterious geocache will take you on an adventure through the natural area's old growth forest. You will learn interesting facts about pollinators as you solve the puzzle, and get tips and even materials to help protect pollinators in your own yard!
The coordinates that are posted will bring you to the first step. Here you will need to use the objects found at this location (i.e. a Bee Hotel and an interpretive sign) to solve the final location of the geocache and solve the riddle of the combo lock on the container.
While you’re out there, go ahead and look for the other 3 geocaches hidden along the 1.5 km loop trail. All of these geocache listings can be found on the left-hand side of the Boisvert's GreenWoods webpage.
