EALT Celebrates 10 Years of Conservation!

2018 is certainly going to be an exciting year  – it’s  our 10th Anniversary!  And note that we have a brand new logo, just for this year.

We hope you all have had a great start to the New Year, and are feeling refreshed and ready to make the best of 2018!  First, we’d like to thank you, our supporters. We were amazed at your generosity during our fall fundraising campaign, and your donations just keep increasing.  We think this is a vote of support for our success in conserving lands over the last decade, and also, we thank our volunteers for helping us steward these important places!

Whether it be through your words of encouragement and advocacy, your time and energy, or through a financial contribution, we want to extend a huge thank-you to everyone who supported us in 2017 and over the last 10 years. Our volunteer base has grown to over 700 people and we have conserved over 2,100 acres of land in the Edmonton region. Without your help, this would not have been possible.

And talking of success in conserving land, we are delighted to let you know that we will be unveiling a brand new conservation area donated at the end of last year, and it happens to be our 10th securement in 10 years – how appropriate!

A glimpse of our new conservation lands to be featured soon!

We’ll be posting information about this donation in the upcoming days, but we are also going to let you know, over the year, about a series of celebratory and stewardship events which we are planning.  They will be posted on our website and will be marked with our logo. Watch our social media to stay updated as well.
