EALT Welcomes our First Summer Intern

We’re very pleased to welcome our very first Conservation Intern! Felysia Green will be working with EALT for the next few months on a variety of stewardship and outreach projects, including working in the field and at other events with our dedicated volunteers.

Felysia grew up in Jasper, AB. She enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and playing sports. She spent her high school summers working for Parks Canada learning about invasive species and techniques to control them in Jasper National Park. In the fall of 2013 Felysia volunteered overseas in Hong Kong for three months with a non-profit organization called Crossroads Foundation. As a volunteer coordinator she learned managerial and leadership skills. Felysia started her Biological Sciences diploma atNAIT last fall and will graduate in May 2016. She enjoys working outdoors and is looking forward to learning and gaining experience as a conservation intern for EALT.

Welcome Felysia!
