Earth Ambassador Program

Conservation is a community effort. The Edmonton and Area Land Trust’s (EALT) Earth Ambassador Program fosters partnerships with businesses and corporations to build support for local nature conservation, thereby benefiting the community, residents, wildlife, and the environment.

The Edmonton and Area Land Trust (EALT) invites local businesses and corporations to participate in the Earth Ambassador Program, in honour of Earth Hour, to make a difference in your community.

In 2017, Earth Hour is on Saturday, March 25th from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Whether you’re open or closed on Saturdays, or during Earth Hour, your business can become an Earth Ambassador! Choose one of these ways to contribute to the environment, or develop your own creative way to participate.

  • Donate a portion of sales from a select hour, day, or week.
  • Donate proceeds from a specific product or service.
  • Host a fundraiser with staff (i.e. 50/50 draw, bottle drive, exercise class, etc.).
  • Volunteer for EALT to further local conservation efforts.

Register your activity details with Steph Weizenbach, Outreach Coordinator, Edmonton and Area Land Trust, or 587-335-5382.

All participants will receive an Earth Ambassador Certificate to proudly hang in their establishment, to acknowledge their contribution to local nature conservation. One exemplary Earth Ambassador will win the Earth Ambassador Award. This is a feel good way to receive unique exposure for contributing to nature conservation.
