Earth Ambassadors Program

Attention Edmonton Business Owners!

The Edmonton and Area Land Trust (EALT) is reaching out to local businesses to encourage new partnerships and to make a difference this Earth Hour, Saturday, March 19. Whether you’re open or closed on Saturday, or during Earth Hour (8:30-9:30 PM), your business can become an Earth Ambassador!

By participating in EALT’s Earth Ambassador Program, you can feel good about supporting the conservation of local natural areas, thereby benefitting the community, residents, wildlife, and the environment. Visit for more information about EALT’s important environmental stewardship and conservation work.

Choose one of these ways to contribute to the local environment, or develop your own!

  • Donate a portion of sales from a select hour (or the entire day!)
  • Donate proceeds from a specific product or service sold
  • Host a fundraiser with staff (i.e. 50/50 draw, bottle drive, exercise class, etc.)

Register your activity details with Steph Weizenbach, Outreach Coordinator, Edmonton and Area Land Trust, or 587-335-5382.

All participants will receive an Earth Ambassador Certificate to proudly hang in their establishment, receive praise and acknowledgement on EALT’s social media, in our E-Newsletter to over 1,000 EALT supporters, in our website news release, and annual report. One creative, dedicated Earth Ambassador will win the Earth Ambassador Award!

This is a fantastic, feel good way to receive unique exposure to potential customers/clients in a whole new way! So what are you waiting for? Register today!
