Volunteer Internship Opportunities

Attention post-secondary students!

EALT has three volunteer internship opportunities available for post-secondary students through the Serving Communities Internship Program (SCiP). SCiP internships are meaningful, skill-based opportunities providing mutual benefit to both non-profit organizations and post-secondary students. Post-secondary students gain skills, experience, and networks, along with a $1,000 bursary, so they can better achieve their missions.

Wildlife Social Media Intern

EALT is looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual with knowledge of local fauna to draft 15 #FaunaFriday posts for our social media channels. This internship can be completed from home. Click here for more info.

Conservation Outreach Intern

We are also looking for a responsible, dedicated individual to lead the set up of an info booth at several event days, and also work with EALT's volunteer team to spread awareness about EALT at these events. You will need a vehicle to transport supplies to and from events. Click here for more info.

Geocaching 101 Intern

Help EALT develop a plan and script for a kid-friendly geocache training session that will be held at our natural areas this summer; volunteering for the actual event is optional. This internship can be completed from home. Click here for more info.
