Did You Know About Canada’s National Wildlife Week?
Wildlife Week is a celebration of wildlife and habitat in honour of the work of the late Jack Miner. Jack was instrumental in founding Canada’s conservation movement and is credited with saving Canada Geese from extinction.
With all of the geese recently returning for spring, it is hard to imagine Canada Geese being threatened with extinction! Thank you Jack Miner!
