Planning Your Conservation Legacy

The Edmonton and Area Land Trust accepts donations of land from those who want to ensure that their land remains naturally beautiful in perpetuity. The duration of the donation process is different for everyone, depending on each donor’s circumstances and wishes. With 22 conservation lands, EALT has become a leader in private land conservation in the Edmonton region.

Why Work with EALT

The Edmonton and Area Land Trust is the only land trust to specifically focus on Edmonton and the surrounding areas, and the parkland and boreal ecosystems found here. We are proud to also have recently received Conservation Excellence Certification through the Centre for Land Conservation. This certification demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards in conservation, including adherence to the Canadian Land Trust Standards and Practices.

EALT recognizes that a love for natural spaces is essential for the ongoing pursuit of conservation on a global and local scale.
